The '''C-36 Falcon''' is an Adwestene {{Other wiki|Twinjet|twin engine}}, {{Other wiki|Canard_(aeronautics)|canard}} {{Other wiki|Delta_wing|delta wing}} {{Other wiki|Multirole_combat_aircraft|multirole}} fighter. Developed with a wide variety of armaments, the Falcon 's main role is for {{Other wiki|Air_superiority|air superiority}}, although it can also perform {{Other wiki|Air_interdiction|interdiction}} and {{Other wiki|Aerial_reconnaissance|reconnaissance}} missions.

The program for the design began in the 1520s when the Adwestene government awarded a contract to [[Galbana Aerospace]] to come up with a new fighter jet to supplement the country's aging fleet of such aircraft. In particular, the leadership of both the Adwestene [[Royal Air Fleet|air force]] and [[Royal Sea Force|navy]], both vocal in their requests for a new aircraft capable of performing operations within sky and sea. By that period, Adwest was also lacking any significant domestically-manufactured planes that were capable of operating in {{Other wiki|Aircraft_carrier|carriers}}. It was these in mind that led to the idea to produce a new multipurpose fighter, making the Falcon distinct in that it was completely built by only one country, involving most of Adwest's major defense contractors.

A preliminary {{Other wiki|Prototype|version}} was assembled by Galbana in 1536 and, following positive reviews, was approved for production. The C-36S and C-36T were formally introduced three years later by the Adwestene War Ministry at a demonstration over Balfonheim during the Edwardian Annual Air Show. Its {{Other wiki|Carrier-based_aircraft|carrier-based}} variant was introduced a year later. With the Adwestene government refusing to publish exact notes on the number produced, many outside analysts claim that over a hundred have already been produced and in active operation by the Adwestene air force.
