It has tens of millions of speakers throughout Kubaniza and the [[Marzanna]] region.<br /> <br /> The Kuban language traces its roots to the ancient [[Kubanizan Hetmanates]], fierce semi-nomadic warriors with warlike, raiding-oriented traditions. The Kubanizan scholar [[Boghan Zheleyn]], employed by the [[Hetmanate of Bukanya|Hetman of Bukanya]], made the first dictionary of the Kuban language. His work, although incomplete, was the basis for future standardization of written Kuban.</div>
