The SMG-5 or Advanced Personal Defense Weapon is a personal defense weapon developed by the Imperial Armament Authority between 1555 and 1558. Created for the Armed Forces of the Imperial Republic of Drahen the SMG-5 is a compact but powerful firearm for vehicle crews, operators of crew-served weapons, support personnel, special forces and counter-terrorist groups. The weapon was developed in conjunction with the [[P-9] pistol and features a compact bullpup design with an integrated reflex sight and fully ambidextrous controls
