The United Kingdom of Hylis and Talamhle, commonly the United Kingdom (UK), Hylis and Talamhle, or simply Hylis, is a sovereign state in northeastern Kvaenna. It shares a land border with multiple states along its western and northern edges, and has the Kolhar Sea to the south.

It is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, ruled by Caerwyn II since 12. The capital is Rasswitt, an inland city along the Llwyd River with a population of approximately 4 million. The city is outsized by the coastal Lythnne, a global city and regional financial center of over 10 million people. The United Kingdom is made of two countries: Hylis and Talamhle. The latter has limited devolved administration over select parts of its historic extents.

The Kingdoms of Hylis and Talamhle were historically rivals, though their relationship changed greatly in the latter half the Medieval Age, when Talamhle was heavily pillaged by the Adwestians. The Hylians took full advantage of the situation, effectively vassalizing the remains and eventually forcing a personal union. The kingdoms were formally united in 1228, by the Acts of Union of Hylis and Talamhle. Over the centuries, the two cultures have largely mixed, though a few areas still consider themselves "fully Hylian" or "purely Talamhlian".

The United Kingdom is a developed country with a high standard of living, considering a high-income economy and categorized as very high in the Human Development Index.
