The Saratovan Federation, or commonly known as Saratov, is a nation located in Northern Brigidna. It borders Southern Severyane,South Eastern Biyra, Eastern Nentsia, and Western Kubaniza.

Etymology
There is no known origin of the name Saratov, though it is believed to be derived from the name Sarativ, the tribe that dominated all of the Saratov mainland, as well as the territories west and south of it.
History
North
Early History
Saratovian-Vostic tribes settled in the South above the lake where there was a vast amount of room for hunting, gathering and farming. The tribes learned to adapt to the harsh winters. The tribes eventually formed Tribal Councils. A notable tribe which were ethnically Sarativ staged a large military campaign against most other tribes of Saratov. The tribes of Kremon and Zusian fell the Sarativ council. After multiple conquests the Sarativ reform into a Tribal Despotism and it establishes borders. Shortly after the Sarativ conquered the rest of the tribes in Saratov it began expanded more into the South, North, West, and East. As a result this forms unfriendly relations with the countries surrounded it but it never leads to war. Around 1790 BCT, the Sarativ Despotism reforms into a Imperial Monarchy calling itself the Saratov Imperium. After it reformed the leadership began to invest more into its economy and infrastructure.

Saratov consist of mostly flat, arable land. There a few hills and is mostly farmland.

The Saratov Federation consists of 12 administrative divisions. Divisions have their own governance which decide on local policy, and control manage local services such as school districts, and emergency services. Municipal districts have little autonomy and decide on a limited list of local police, and manage trash and recycling services. Municipal districts have representatives in their respective Administrative Division Councils and are elected through popular vote by their residents.
