Chancellor (Arrenland)

The Chancellor (Arrene: canceler) of Arrenland is a political office whose holder is elected by a three-fifths vote of the Witenagemot, the parliament of Arrenland. The chancellor is the head of government who holds executive power through the Executive Council, which consists of all of the head ministers of government. Usually, the chancellor is the leader of the party or coalition of parties which holds a majority of seats in the Witenagemot, meaning that he has significant power in the legislative process.
