Aerin III (full name: Aerin Docrun Hansen) is the reigning Oslanburgan Arch-King, having succeeded his mother Johanna II upon her falling ill, and unfit to continue her reign. He officially became the Arch King of Oslanburg on the 12 Marth 1565. He married Johanna, Arch Queen of Oslanburg, Princess Imperial and Duchess of Vundt on the 9 Septem 1564; the couple presently have two issues, Crown Prince Hadrian ad his younger twin brother Prince Erik. He is officially styled His Majesty Aerin III, Arch-King of Oslanburg and Oslan Realms.
Early Life and Education
Aerin was born at the Wurberg Palace Medical Center on 12 Marth 1537, and has two younger siblings: Princess Mariana (born 1541) and Prince Valther (born 1545). He was educated at Saint Comel's Primary School, a regular private school located in north eastern Herlev. After graduating from Saint Comel's Primary, he subsequently attended the Saint Comel's Secondary School (VWO) focused upon economics and the sciences. He took additional foreign language courses, and is now fluent in four foreign languages (Lanlian, Florinthian, Nerysian, and Laurentian).
Following his VMO education, at the age of 18, he enrolled at the Gulstand University for a total of six years, earning his masters in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering and spending time abroad in the Holy Lanlanian Empire and Nyland. The move to immediately attend university after his secondary education resulted in some protest from society, as some found that Aerin was effectively avoiding the military service that was traditional for the royal family by extending his studies beyond the four years that were customary at the time.
During his lengthy studies, he also earned a commercial pilots' license, which became most apparent to the public as he flew the government aircraft, a SL430, during a state visit to the former Abania-Mordvania in 1562. Even though his schedule today usually no longer permits flying aircraft regularly, it is known that he maintains an actual CPL license and occasionally flies one of the family aircraft, though since 1568 this has decreased even further.
