This list of Emperors of Akitsu presents the Emperors in order of traditional succession. While many monarchs existed over the course of Akitsu's existence, this list only covers those with a quasi-legitimate claim over the majority of Akitsu or those who have been traditionally named in king-lists. Akitian monarchs were known by at least two names, this list only includes the given names (where possible) and reign names.
Earliest Akitian monarchs did not go by family names, but later Akitian monarchs did. Furthermore, all Akitian monarchs held at least 2 names, occasionally more. This order will include the family names and given names (or names most remembered by history) where possible, and not include any other names.
