Jawad (Ashked: Cevad) is one of the largest tribes in Zargistan and Ga'bath. Most of the members of the Jawadi tribe live in the mountainous regions of northwestern Zargistan and southeastern Ga'bath, an area commonly referred to as Jawadistan. The tribe's history extends to pre-Akhadic times and millions descended from the tribe live in Zargistan, Ga'bath, Kyrzbekistan, and Ashar. Members of the tribe are commonly identifiable by the surnames of their clans or the surname Jawadi.
Jawad was the largest clan to join the Jawadi Rebellion against the regime of Abjul Takmir in 1554. The tribal chief Adil Jawadi was killed in Alven 1555 by the Republican Guard.
