Template:Infobox firearm cartridge The 6.5x49mm Verse is a rifle cartridge developed by the Holy Lanlanian Empire to provide its soldiers with a more powerful bullet. Since its development, it has steadily began to replace the previous 5.62x45mm as the empire's primary ammunition.
The cartridge was developed to provide high velocity and great accuracy, though it does travel slower than some comparable rounds with a longer case length. The round was also designed with barrel life and case capacity in mind.
