The YTK-82 Vattayad is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed by the Holy Lanlanian Empire. It is the primary SAM system used by the empire and several of its allies. Its main role is to provide air defense against aircraft and missiles, both ballistic and cruise. It is expected to stay in service until the early 1600s.

The Vattayad is the main SAM system of the South Sea Aerospace Defense Command.

Introduction

Vattayad uses multiple advanced interceptor missiles and sophisticated, high-performance radar systems to achieve its mission. The system is composed of several components mounted on trucks or trailers, which makes it highly modular and mobile. A battery can be installed within an hour.

The core component is the fire control system, consisting of a radar set, the FC-103 Engagement Control Station, the AG-303 Antenna Mast group, and the EP-9 Electric Power Plant. Missiles are transported on and launched from the K301 Launching Station, which can carry up to four VYD-2 missiles, sixteen VYD-3 missiles, twenty VYD-4, or four Kondir Anti-Ballistic missiles.
