Drazen, officially the Kingdom of Drazen is a northwestern country in Near East. Its territory is mainly located along the Angirisian Gulf. Drazen shares a land and maritime border with Angiris in the north, and a land border with Ustyara in the south. It borders the Pythian Sea to the west.

The Kingdom of Drazen was established in 1587, after the breakup of New Galasia following the Galasian Civil War and the 1586 referendum in which Eastmarch, New Galasia's eastern region, voted for independence, although the Kingdom of Drazen already existed previously as the main realm of the Kingdom of New Galasia.

The Constitution of the Kingdom of Drazen was signed on 0000, ending the Angirisian occupation of the country which followed the Second Galasian-Angirisian War in 1584. It establishes a constitutional monarchy -the first and current monarch being Queen Agrippina I- organised as a parliamentary democratcy. The government and national government are seated in Alsace, the nation's capital and largest city.

Language

Neo-Galasian is a constructed language by design. It is based upon ancient Galasian, with quite a few Mestran and Angiris root words to fill in the gaps. It was formed near the beginning of the New Galasian Crusade as a way of unifying the people, and keeping their plans secret from the Angiris Empire. The language has evolved somewhat naturally, becoming distinct from Ancient Galasian, as well as Mestran and Angiris. The language uses the ancient alphabet of Galasia, with a few new letters to fix some of the phonetic issues, and make it easier for the people to understand once they learned it.
