List of the Emperors/Empresses of Zanaro

• Emperor Ulric Korvain: Ruled from 1159-1185
  • Known as the founder of The Empire of Zanaro, he put down several revolts to his rule ensuring the Empire remained united.
• Emperor Scarig Korvain: Ruled from 1185-1206
  • Ruled for most of the Warring States Era, died about halfway through the era, leaving his son to fight to maintain the Empire.
• Emperor Ulmen Korvain: Ruled from 1206-1231
  • Ended the Warring States era of Zanaro, and sought to bring an end to the conflict by dividing the Empire into three nations after his death.
• Regent Merin Ásvaldr: Ruled from 1231-1240
  • Protected the Throne during the Three Emperor War, a terrible consequence of Ulmen's ambition to end wars within the Empire.
• Emperor Mal Korvain: Ruled from 1240-1258
  • Won the Three Emperor War, focused on maintaining the statuesque of the Empire.
• Emperor Johen Korvain: Ruled from 1258-1290
  • Considewred the weakest Emperor of the Korvain Dynasty, he was manipulated by the various Great Families.
• Emperor Aelrick Korvain: Ruled from 1290-1325
  • Led the Empire to vicotry over the Spinne Invasion, and defeated the Driaz Kore Kingdom. His Imperial reforms led to the Civil War, and the eradication of the Korvain Dynasty.
• Emperor Augustus Scairp the Usurper: Ruled from 1325-1331
  • The leader of the Scairp Great Family, and the first non-Korvain to 'claim' the Imperial Throne of Zanaro. He was executed for treason.
• Emperor Jon Craien: Ruled from 1331-1349
  • Defeated Augustus Scairp and claimed the throne as his own. His bid to unify Zanaro failed, and he was executed.
• Empress Rinae Spinne: Ruled from 1349-1359
  • Claimed the Imperial Throne, and was perhaps the closest of the pretenders to unifying the Empire peacefully. She was kileld in battle by the Capall.
• Emperor Aegrin Capall: Ruled 1359-1367
  • Claimed the Imperial Throne, and sought the elimination of the other Great Families. An alliance against him led to his execution.
• Regent Heringer Arnórr: Ruled 1367-1399
  • Caimed the Imperial Throne could only bo granted to a worthy person. He ensured it remained unclaimed during the rest of the war.
• Empress Sylvia Mourne: Ruled 1399-1456
  • The first elected Empress of Zanaro, she led the reconstruction of the Empire after the end of the Civil War.
• Empress Risa Arnórr: Ruled 1456-1502
  • Empress Risa focused on building strong relations with the neighbors of Zanaro.
• Emperor James Kóri: 1502-1565
  • Emperor James Kóri focused greatly on the development of trade during his reign, it led to a vast increase in wealth within the Empire.
• Empress Rosalia Ealdræd: 1565-Present
  • Empress Rosalia Ealdræd has focused greatly on the development of a Imperial Military force after the passing of the Imperial Military Laws.
