As an island nation, the country shares no land borders with another country, but shares maritime borders with Adwest, Aeriland, and Goldecia.

Kolhar is a single-party totalitarian dictatorship. All public servants are ultimately subservient to the Davyl Jaw, currently Arz Brianan. The country's constitution dictates that the only legal political party shall be the Kolhari Advancement Party. Though the constitution also allows for a legislature, this legislature is widely believed to be nothing more than a rubber-stamp, with the Davyl Jaw ruling by decree.
