Kubanizan Ground Forces

The Kubanizan Ground Forces (Kuban: Сухопутні Bійська Кубаньізи, tr. Sukhoputni Viys'ka Kubanizy) are the land force component of the Armed Forces of Kubaniza. Its current commander is Colonel General Oleg Pushenko and it is headquartered in Bukanya. It was formed from many units from the United Khorobri Forces after the end of the Winter War and the dissolution of the United Khorobri Forces. Since 1525, the Kubanizan Ground Forces have regularly upgraded its equipment, putting old Union-era equipment out of commission and adopting modern equipment.

History

Mission

The primary responsibilities of the Ground Forces are:

  • Ensure the defense and integrity of the national borders;
  • Combat on land and defeat of enemy forces;
  • Security of occupied territories;
  • Ensure the readiness and mobilization of units.

Structure

The Grand Hetman is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Kubaniza. The Central Command of the Ground Forces, based in Bukanya, directs all activities of the Ground Forces and forms part of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kubaniza. The commander of the Central Command, and thus the commander of the whole Ground Forces, is Colonel General Oleg Pushenko.

Ground Forces units are spread across four military districts: Northern Military District, Central Military District, Southern Military District, and Pomimorya Military District.
