Soyabar

Soyabar is a socialist monarchy with emperor Jules as head of state. It became independant from Lanlania in 420 after the rebellion of the Munchies.

The monarchy

The emperor as head of state has no defacto power whatsoever. However he has a seat in parlemaint can conduct talks with foreign nations and is the highest judge in the imperial court. In times of war, he is the highest ranking officer in the army.

soyabar army

The best known unit in the Soyabarian army is the immortal imperial legion. This is the elite of the soyabar army and ledgend holds it that these are the sons and daughters of the people who fought in the rebellion of the munchies.

Soyabar has a tradition that in times of war everyone can be called into action, these are no proffesional soldiers and are only used to defend the country in need. this is to give the standing army time to arrive where they are most needed and to fend off invaders.
