History
Classifications
- Midgyr religions:
- The Makhal Faith is the oldest religion in Brigidna, preceding both Messanism and Akhadism. It follows the two gods Ananim and his wife Tishah. The Makhal faith declined with the Makhal Empire, though does have a significant following in modern-day Assaria and Ceribia.
- Messanism was born and persecuted in Makhal Azreae before finding a power center in the ancient Archkingdom of Lanlania. It is a monotheistic religion following the god Rune. The First Schism took place in the 2nd century BCE and divided the faith into the Sentric Church and the Ostrid Church. Avalsyanism sprung from Sentricism in protest of church corruption during the the 11th century.
- Near Eastern religions:
- The largest Near Eastern religion is Akhadism, though it later split into Alsterenism or whatever.

- Svarna Surya's.:The biggest religion in Svarna Surya is Nobala Astha. The religion focuses on a way of life . The aim is to live a good noble life according to the noble faith. This is to be achieved through charity or good works , ethics and hard work. You are judged on these characteristics and reborn according to these. If you are good you go into a higher class of human being , in if not you go into a lower class of human being.The higher the caste the more noble you are seen as being while lower castes have traditionally been seen as dirtier people. Meditation and recitation is seen as an important part of faith and you can gain good fortune by praising to the God of your craft. There is also the God of creation, rebirth and death.The main festivals are The festival of New Life, Festival of the Sun , Festival of the Rains, Festival of New Beginnings(New Years) and Festival of the Dead.
