Dramadel is the oldest settlement in Lanlania, and has been producing salt its entire history. It's believed the city was originally settled due to the salt found within and beneath the hill. The city is now one of the smallest settlements in the Empire that is considered a national and world heritage site. The city is home to an Imperial Cottage, which sees service a few times a year.
It has less than 1000 year-round inhabitants and has been on a falling trend for the several decades.
The village is a quiet place, home mainly to retirees. Tourism and salt production are its industries, in part due to the mines and the Imperial Cottage. which can be toured when it's not in service. Skilled elderly also produce wooden or rock trinkets, which are rumored to be some of the best in the world. Really.
