Maya City is a small city on the southern coast of South Arius. The city was spared during the Great War due to its cultural value from its many historic buildings. It was once the capital of Arius, though it was eventually surpassed by Kaiser City.
It is a democracy with an elected City Council which appoints the Mayor. The city's lead Pokémon Gym is not sanctioned and specializes in Fairy Pokemon.
It is part of the Alliance of Free Cities.
