Iron Hollow is most populous city in Millerainia, capital of Deneli and is one of the largest cities in Avidna. The city constitutes a key part of the Commonwealth Crown greater megalopolis region. The city population of Iron Hollow was at 5,865,879 in 1572. Large portions of the city are concentrated with immigrant groups, the city is extremely multicultured and cosmopolitan.
Iron Hollow was established as New Lienes by Florinthian Harvenites in the thirteenth century, due to its favorable and calm natural harbors in Sea-Glass Bay. However, shortly before independence, the city was incorporated as Iron Hollow. The name was homage to the city's growing industrial sector, particularly in the production of metals such as steel.
The city is known as the business as well as cultural capital of Millerainia.

Iron Hollow is served by Sun Commonwealth International Airport which is in the northeastern neighborhood of Varsity Heights. The airport serves Iron Hollow and surrounding metropolitan area in Deneli. From 1573, it has been the 10th busiest airport in the world and is the busiest in Avidna and Millerainia by passenger travel. SCIA has flights both domestic and to locations throughout Avidna, Brigidna, Skathia, Kvaenna, Ostara and Southerland
