The Federation of Florinthus, commonly referred to as Florinthus is a sovereign state on the continent of Brigidna. The Federation is located on the western coast of western Brigidna, while the country also has a multitude of islands and chains across the globe. Florinthus is surrounded by the Lagrain Sea to the west and north and the Ranave Gulf to the northeast, and is bordered by Oslanburg to the east and Galeae to the south.
Florinthus is a developed country and is in the world's top thirty economies. It is considered to have a high-income economy and a very high Human Development Index. It was one of the world's first industrialized countries and a moderate colonial power in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, though many of its colonies were given independence. It remains a civilized power, with limited influence beyond its borders.
