Imperium International Airport

Imperium International Airport (IAOC:IIA; OCAA: IINA) is a public airport serving Telos, Drahen and the surrounding metropolitan area. Imperium International Airport is one of the first airports to open in the country and was founded the same time as Drahen Airways, with the goal of providing easy air transport for both the Imperial Family and government officials. It is the second largest airport in the country, after Traus International Airport and is a hub for Drahen Airways, and is a focus city for JetGO and Orion Airlines.

History

Imperium International Airport first opened in 1471 as the 1st airfield for the fledgling Drahen Royal Air Force and Imperial Air Mail Service. The airport was opened with a 300 meter long dirt runway and several corrugated hangars. With the creation of Drahen Airways, then known as Drahen State Airline Administration, the airfield began to see non-military flights, transporting the royal family and government officials throughout Drahen. The first commercial flights took place in 1495 with the State Airline Administration to Traus with several stops in between.
